Publication in Small
🚀 New Research Alert!
Our team is excited to share our latest publication in Small, where we introduce a novel barrier-free microfluidic device designed to study the tumor microenvironment in glioblastoma.
🧠 Key Findings:
✔️ Tumor-driven extracellular matrix stiffening boosts glioblastoma aggressiveness.
✔️ Stiffening also impairs immune cell infiltration, creating an additional challenge for the immune response.
✔️ The effect of temozolomide on immune infiltration is explored, offering insights for improved immunotherapies.
This work provides a new platform to investigate immune-tumor interactions in a physiologically relevant setting, contributing to the ongoing effort to improve glioblastoma prognosis in patients.
👏 Huge congratulations to Clara and Claudia for leading this study, and a big thank you to Vira and Mehran for their contribution, and to Sara, Ignacio, Rosa, and Manuel for their support.
