TME Lab SCOPE

Although we are open to new applications, oriented by industry or clinics, at this moment, we focus our efforts on several projects, related to oncology (glioblastoma, colon cancer) and in vitro mimicking of epithelial (colon, skin) and cardiac tissues, in organ-on-chip devices.

For these applications, we work with and develop new mathematical techniques for biophysical simulation (continuum and agent-based models) and based on artificial intelligence (deep learning approaches), as well as new experimental models based on microfluidic devices and in vitro techniques, trying to reduce as much as possible animal experiments.
