Conference: “Technology and Health”
June 23–27, 2025
The Menéndez Pelayo International University, in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Engineering, is organizing the summer course “Technology and Health” from June 23 to 27. This high-level academic initiative explores the growing convergence between technological advancements and their application in the healthcare field.
The course is directed by Professor María Vallet Regí (member of the Royal Academies of Engineering and Pharmacy), with Manuel Doblaré Castellano (member of the Royal Academy of Engineering, professor at the University of Zaragoza, and researcher at I3A) serving as academic secretary.
Over the course of five days, renowned experts will address a wide range of technological applications—from well-established to the most cutting-edge—that are transforming medical practice and patient care. The program offers a comprehensive perspective that integrates science, engineering, health, ethics, and public policy.
The course is especially aimed at: clinical and healthcare professionals, engineers and specialists in health-related technologies, students in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), biomedical researchers, and experts in law, ethics, and public policy.
