Jacobo Ayensa participation at the “Mathematical modeling: theory and applications” conference
TME Lab is participating in the conference “Mathematical modeling: theory and applications” organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IUMA) of the University of Zaragoza as a member of the Aragon Institute of Engineering Research (I3A).
The conference is dedicated to the use of Mathematics to study, model, and solve systems and specific or abstract problems in different scientific and technical fields. It is held at the “Sala de Grados” of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Zaragoza.
In particular, our member Jacobo Ayensa will present our mathematical models for characterizing and simulating Glioblastoma microenvironment in microfluidic devices, and how mathematical models can be used to understand tumor progression, as well as to design and analyse new experiments.
The objectives of the meeting are to disseminate and exchange the knowledge generated in the research of the various institutes in the field of Mathematics and its applications and to generate new multidisciplinary collaborations between different research groups with different experience and capabilities.
