The II ipiBA day (Encuentro de Investigadores predoctorales en investigaciones biomédicas de Aragón) took place last Friday June 2nd, with great representation from our group. Our PhD students Laura Paz, Marina Pérez and María Villota participated in the “Thesis in 3 minutes” contest, while Estibaliz Fernandez presented a poster.
Besides, Marina won the award for best thesis in 3 minutes in the contest, with her presentation “Matemáticas contra el cancer (Mathematics against cancer)” about how mathematical models can help us better understand cancer evolution and create digital twins of in vitro models which may help us design optimal therapies.
Congratulations to Marina and to all the participants! Great work!
