Rubén Muñoz Sierra studied the Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and the Master’s Degree in Mathematical Modelling and Research, Statistics and Computing at the University of Zaragoza. He has focused his career since the last year of the degree on the application of artificial intelligence, mathematics and computer science in different problems, with a great interest in the field of medicine and health sciences.

Currently, he is a pre-doctoral student in biomedical engineering, and his thesis is focused on Artificial Intelligence explainability techniques, computational complexity reduction and Scientific Machine Learning for the simulation of biomaterials.
