Short Biography

Hector Castro is a Postdoctoral Researcher investigating the role of mechanics of the microenvironment on the invasion and migration of colorrectal cancer cells.

He received his bacherlor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the National University of Colombia. He then coursed his master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering on the same University. His master’s thesis, which focused on computational simulation of endochondral ossification, received a meritorious distinction from the evaluation comittee.

Hector joined the group on September 2018, and he’s currently doing a joint supervision thesis between the University of Zaragoza and the National University of Colombia.
