Short Biography
Carmen Oñate Salafranca earned her degree in Biology from the University of Jaén and after that, she further specialized her biological studies with a master in Immunology from the University of Barcelona and with a master in Genetic, Nutritional, and Environmental Factors in Growth and Development from the University of Granada.
In 2011 she joined a research group that focused on cancer immunotherapy at Clínica Universitaria de Navarra where she worked for 8 years.
Her main work is focused on cancer biomarkers, immune populations in the cancer microenvironment, and the manufacturing of dendritic cell-based vaccine in clinical trials.
