Degree in Biology (1999) and Biochemistry (2000) from the University of Navarra, she obtained a Doctor’s degree in the Biomedicine program from the University of Zaragoza in 2014.
She is currently a post-doctoral researcher of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Aragón (IIS Aragón) and member of Instituto de Investigación en Ingeniería de Aragón (I3A). Furthermore, she is also member of the Grupo Consolidado de Referencia Bio MicroEnvironment Lab (BME Lab: GIIS-018) of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Aragón (IIS Aragón).She has 25 publications in international journals in the field of biomedicine and two book chapters.
She combines her research activity with teaching as an associate professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zaragoza in the Department of Histology and Human Anatomy, where she teaches Histology subjects.
